After Kemal Angün did his military service, he started repairing sewing machines with the advice of his father's friend Ethem. Kemal, whose main profession is auto repair, changed his profession, when Ethem told him "You will earn your living only with a screwdriver and a plier." When Kemal's father, who is a tailor, supported him, he opened his first workshop in Ulus Anafartalar Street.

Kemal is famous for his calmness and honesty. He has been doing the same job for thirty-nine years. However, with the replacement of mechanical sewing machines by electronic ones, the repair work has decreased considerably.
